Preparing to Return to “live” worship
[Approved by Your Church Leadership Team June 8, 2020]
While we do not live in fear, but in faith, there are naturally some precautionary measures needing to be followed by everyone in times like these. We are the Body of Christ. We do not exist alone, but there’s an interdependence upon one another. What this means in practice is that it takes 100% active participation together to achieve the greatest amount of health safety for all. So we need 100% of us exercising personal responsibility. While we feel these are appropriate guidelines for us now, we are hoping that PA will be going green soon and there can be improved relaxed guidelines in the near future. Thank you.
Here is what we can expect as we return to ‘live’ worship:
One of our nurses, Annette Pitotti has volunteered to be our “temperature-taker” with a touchless thermometer upon entry. Anyone over 100 or above degrees will not be allowed to stay, and encouraged to see a doctor.
1 Those who are ‘high risk’ please stay at home. If you have a temperature, cough, or symptoms of covid-19 in the last 14 days, please stay home; or if you have been in contact with anyone who is covid-19 positive in the last 14 days, please stay home.
2 Those who attend should obey social Distancing (6′ foot declared/3′ is adequate) No hugging please until deemed safe at a later time.
3 Feel free to use the touchless foam hand sanitizers provided (in moderation)
4 Bring your mask; disposable masks are provided if you do not have yours.
5 We will be opening up worship initially alone; SS, Awana, etc. will possibly open later at the appropriate time. (i.e. Ministry events will return as time and safety allow.)
6 Only two people allowed in restrooms at one time. Those using restrooms should use “pass” on the door. If none are there, please wait until someone exits with a “pass.” Two passes are on each door. (PLEASE NOTE: Parent and child count as one person.)
7 20 second-plus washing of hands is important for all.
8 Church house will be sanitized prior to opening worship and after every service.
9 People should congregate outside to keep social distancing of 6′ an easier thing.
10 We are attempting to continue providing video of live worship by 6:00 Sunday evening so those not able to attend can participate in that way.
11 At this time of opening, masks should be worn while in the church building. Worship team should wear masks when they come down off the platform.
12 We will adopt our “Building Fund Church” for offering envelopes or offering to be dropped into, so offering plates do not need to be passed during our gathering.

TOGETHER, WE WILL SUCCEED!”
